Sewell Wallis is working with a renowned business based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This position has arisen due to the business going through a period of growth.

Working alongside an experienced finance team, this Accounts Assistant role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to the month-end process, making it a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to start their ACCA or CIMA studies.

What will you be doing?

Working closely with the Finance Team to ensure costs are recorded accurately in the management accounts.
Allocating supplier invoices to the correct customer contracts.
Handling month-end tasks, including accruals and prepayments.
Keeping balance sheet reconciliations up to date and accurate.
Collaborating with teams across the business to build strong internal relationships. What skills are we looking for?

Previous experience in a finance or accounting role.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Capable of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
A proactive mindset and effective problem-solving abilities.What's on offer?
