You will be working with high-needs KS1 students in a primary school setting located in Stockport. This is a challenging yet rewarding role, which will provide you with the chance to work with a great team of practitioners, who will support you throughout your time there as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
What you'll do:
* Provide individualised support to children with a range of learning and developmental needs
* Assist with planning and delivering tailored learning activities
* Work on a 1:1 or small group basis with children who have Special Educational Needs
* Utilise learning schemes in order to progress your student's learning
* Report back to parents and teachers regarding the student's progress
* Work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure each child reaches their full potential
* Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive
What you'll bring:
* A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs
* Experience working with children with a range of special educational needs (SEN)
* A positive and supportive attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A commitment to working as part of a team
* Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role)
