What we’re looking for...
We are looking for someone reliable and self-motivated to join the small but crucial team at Stroud Depot as a Bus Fueller Shunter Cleaner. The Engineering team is responsible for keeping our bus operation running smoothly, 24 hours a day, from vehicle servicing to fuelling and cleaning.
What will I be doing?
* Fuelling, cleaning and parking buses ready for the following day
* Deep cleaning buses, including chassis and steam cleaning
* Garage duties such as cleaning and sweeping our workshop and work bays, cleaning and painting wheels, and collecting bus parts from one of our other local depots
* Yard maintenance duties such as litter picking, weeding and painting
* Depending on your experience and abilities you could be asked to carry out further basic site maintenance tasks
What do you need to apply?
* You will hold a full current car driving license
* Right to Work in the UK
* A willingness to learn and be part of a small but crucial team
* Be able to work both as a team and independently when required
* Experience operating larger vehicles or equipment would be advantageous, but not required, as training will be provided
