Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Pitlochry, Perthshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a mixed animal practice in Pitlochry, Perthshire for a Permanent Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full or part time with weekends and on-call on a rota.

10. Team: 8 vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN and support team
The role
11. This position is available on a full or part time basis.
12. The role is ideal for an experienced mixed animal Vet. The practice deal with both small, farm and equine.
13. The practice encourage case continuity and Vets are encouraged to work up their own cases and there is additional support available from the large team.
14. Areas of special interest are encouraged and supported.
15. They are able to provide an interesting and challenging caseload allowing for ongoing development.
16. Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work / life balance. EG Rota to work around the school run / holidays /lifestyle.
17. The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
18. The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

19. Established Small, Farm and Equine Practice located in the stunning Scottish Highlands.
20. They are fully equipped with facilities including digital x-ray, laser therapy treatments, Bovine Ultrasound Scanner, stance analyser, motorised equine dental rasp and rigid endoscope.
21. They have a large team of 8 Vets and 8 Nurses and 1 SVN.
22. They support personal development with a generous CPD allowance and encourage and support certificates and additional training.

Package
32. Salary: Up to £63, pro rata, commensurate to experience
33. Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
