Role Overview
This is a role for someone who wants to change the status quo. We are looking for a Marketing Manager who is restless, inventive and genuinely ahead of the curve - someone who wakes up thinking about the next bold idea and goes to sleep knowing they moved the needle.
EPIC Global Solutions is a leading gambling harm prevention consultancy, trusted by professional sports organisations, gambling operators and wider partners across the globe.
We are looking for a proactive, creative and commercially-minded Marketing Manager to help strengthen EPIC’s brand, support business growth and deliver high-quality marketing activity across our key markets.
This role will support marketing across EPIC’s core sectors of sport and gambling, with a particular focus on the UK and North America. You will work closely with the commercial, delivery and leadership teams to create campaigns, content and marketing activity that build awareness, support lead generation and help EPIC communicate its impact clearly.
This is a hands-on role. You will be expected to manage day-to-day marketing activity, coordinate campaigns, produce and brief content, support events, work with external agencies and help ensure EPIC’s marketing is consistent, professional and commercially useful.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will bring strong marketing experience, ideally gained in sport, gambling, social impact, professional services, B2B services or another relevant commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand, content and communications
* Maintain and apply EPIC’s brand consistently across marketing materials, campaigns and external communications.
* Support the development of compelling content, including case studies, client stories, blogs, newsletters, social posts, video briefs, presentations and campaign assets.
* Work with internal teams to capture EPIC’s expertise, lived experience, client impact and sector insight clearly and engagingly.
* Coordinate designers, freelancers and external agencies where needed, ensuring briefs are clear and outputs are delivered on time.
* Help ensure EPIC’s messaging is consistent across the UK, North America and other relevant markets.
2. Digital marketing and campaigns
* Manage day-to-day digital marketing activity across LinkedIn, email, the EPIC website and other relevant channels.
* Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns for EPIC’s key audiences, including sports organisations, gambling operators and corporate partners.
* Help create and manage email marketing activity, newsletters, campaign journeys and CRM-supported communications.
* Monitor campaign performance and use basic analytics to understand what is working and where improvements are needed.
* Work with the commercial team to ensure marketing activity supports lead generation, client engagement and sales conversations.
3. Sales and commercial support
* Create and maintain marketing materials that support business development, including brochures, pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies and sector-specific collateral.
* Work with commercial colleagues to understand target accounts, key sectors and upcoming opportunities.
* Support the creation of tailored content and campaign assets for priority prospects, partnerships and events.
* Help ensure that leads, enquiries and marketing-generated opportunities are captured and passed to the right people internally.
4. Sport and gambling sector marketing
* Support marketing activity aimed at EPIC’s core sectors: professional sport and gambling.
* Develop content and campaigns that speak to the needs of clubs, leagues, governing bodies, operators, regulators and other sector stakeholders.
* Monitor relevant sector news, competitor activity, events and content trends.
* Support EPIC’s visibility in the industry through trade press, events, award entries, partnerships and thought leadership opportunities.
5. Events, partnerships and regional support
* Support the planning and promotion of key events, conferences, webinars, workshops and partnership activity.
* Help prepare event collateral, speaker materials, follow-up campaigns and post-event communications.
* Work with UK and North America colleagues to adapt marketing materials for regional needs.
* Coordinate marketing activity across different teams and time zones, helping ensure deadlines are met and communication is clear.
6. Reporting and coordination
* Maintain a simple marketing calendar covering campaigns, content, events and key deadlines.
* Track core marketing metrics such as website activity, social engagement, email performance, campaign results and lead generation.
* Provide regular updates on marketing activity, progress and performance.
