FM Conway is currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Operative to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. As our Multi-Skilled Operative you will carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks including but not limited to carpentry, finishing, general building and external works. This is a permanent, full-time position based from our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent.
The duties of the Multi-Skilled Operative role will include:
* Responding promptly to reactive maintenance requests and effectively diagnose faults
* Completing planned maintenance works in accordance with schedules, specifications, and compliance requirements
* Supporting the wider facilities team in maintaining other building systems such as HVAC, electrical and mechanical when required
* Completing general building repairs including minor carpentry, painting, fittings and flooring tasks
* Maintaining accurate records of completed carpentry and maintenance work in line with company procedures
* Identifying and reporting any safety concerns or potential hazards related to water systems and leaks
* Working with the wider maintenance team on larger renovation or improvement projects
