About the role
1. The Marketing Manager is responsible for the Go-to-Market strategy for Dräger’s Marine and Offshore business, Oil and Gas, Chemical segments and Draeger Hire. In collaboration with the product Marketing Managers and Head of Marketing they will develop and adapt the marketing strategy and define all local marketing activities to meet business objectives.
2. The Marketing Manager is responsible for positioning the Dräger Hire Portfolio within the target segments. This includes the competitive positioning as well as the adaptation and development of the product differentiation message within brand guidelines.
3. The Marketing Manager is responsible for price positioning of the hire portfolio and adaption of the global / regional marketing materials for the local market. Line manages and works in conjunction with the Communication Specialist in the development of local materials and sales support information.
4. The Marketing Manager is the segment expert. They are responsible for providing support to the sales teams for the achievement of their sales targets. As the Marine and Offshore business, Oil and Gas, Chemical segments and Draeger Hire expert.
5. The Marketing Manager is responsible for the implementation and execution of the Marine and Offshore business, Oil and Gas, Chemical segments, and Draeger Hire Go-to-Market strategy process in consultation with the Head of Marketing (considering global concepts) for each market segment.
6. The Marketing Manager Supports long-term brand awareness, thought leadership and key opinion leader activities across the safety segments and product areas. They Drive business and competitive intelligence with regards to the area of responsibility within the global guidelines, understand future market trends and requirements and help to align strategies accordingly.
7. The successful candidate will need to be able to travel to the Aberdeen site weekly.

12. Working in a team of fifteen, managing and supported by a marketing communications specialist, you will attend meetings at both Draeger offices and offsite to further the collective safety marketing strategy.
Education/Qualifications
13. Marketing & Product Management experience preferably in a relevant industry or technical Safety role.
14. Degree in related subject desirable.
