Description Costain are working with Anglian Water on their new Reservoirs Programme to support progression of 2 huge new reservoirs through DCO (Govt Approval). We are primarily acting as Anglian Water's Principal Contractor under CDM for the extensive site investigation works and have fantastic opportunities for individuals looking to join our growing delivery team, working predominantly across Sleaford (Lincolnshire), Chatteris (Cambridgeshire) and Peterborough. The Sub-Agent will be critical to the successful delivery of the Anglin water SRO projects, reporting to the Site Agent they will be responsible for: Management of day-to-day site operations Work with the GF to manage of all aspects of site management with regards to health and safety Planning and programming of a busy schedule of investigation works, ensuring CDM compliance is adhered to. LI-KP1 Responsibilities Responsibilities Manage day to day site management on remote compounds for ground investigation activities. Feed information to the senior agent regards to programme and client updates. Ensure the project and contractual requirements are met while maintaining a strong relationship with our partner. Proactively manage the Programme, risks, opportunities and budget and feed into a the wider management team. Deliver Internal and external reporting with overall responsibility for meeting the performance requirements of the project (s) Leading by example in respect of Health, safety and wellbeing, Drive efficiency and continual productivity improvements, creating best practise for the team and adding value for our customer. Establish clear lines of communications throughout the team, defining roles and responsibilities to ensure the efficient use of resources and the delivery of cost-effective solutions. Ensure relevant documentation is in place for example Rams, Permits and itps. Lead on weekly planning sessions for the section of works and feed into wider programme Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Logical and concise approach to work Ability to pay close attention to small details that could impact results Effective communication and strong stakeholder management skills Problem solver who is comfortable working others Passionate about improving performance in the sector through best practice, process improvements and continuous improvement practices. A good understanding of change processes Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload, balancing competing priorities and deadlines. Qualifications Degree or level qualification in Civil Engineering or relevant field SMSTS Card CSCS Card Full UK Driving Licence
