We are looking for an enthusiastic HGV Vehicle Technician to join our hard-working, highly successful team. Providing excellent frontline services across Gloucestershire, Ubico Ltd is a rapidly expanding, local-authority-owned company.
Reporting to the Fleet Workshop & Maintenance Manager, you will carry out inspections, servicing, repairs and maintenance of HGVs and light vehicles, plant and equipment to the required standards, in line with compliance and Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities
* Carry out inspections, servicing, repairs and maintenance of HGVs and light vehicles, plant and equipment to required standards
* Ensure work is performed in line with compliance and Health & Safety regulations and procedures
What you will need
* City & Guilds Craft Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent
* Experience in vehicle inspections, servicing and repair of motor vehicles; working on a mixed fleet would be a distinct advantage
* Good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to work
* A full, valid driving licence
* To live within a 15-mile radius of GL7
* Desirable but not essential: HGV Category C licence (training can be provided)
