Minor Works / Building Refurbishment Manager – Burngreave Building Company (Sheffield)
Salary: £34,000 + performance bonuses (up to £40,000 OTE depending on targets achieved)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Location: Sheffield, S4 7JS (must be able to commute or relocate)
Role Overview
Burngreave Building Company is seeking an experienced Minor Works Manager to oversee projects valued between £500 and £50,000. Our work includes social housing, refurbishments, NHS, universities, schools, and insurance contracts.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and deliver minor works projects from start to finish
* Plan and coordinate trades, subcontractors, and materials
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Prepare and oversee Health & Safety documentation (RAMS & CPPs)
* Maintain cost control and assist with final accounts
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in building refurbishment/maintenance management
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
* Trade background (preferred but not essential)
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills
