The Role: As Accounts Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, overseeing the preparation of accounts and ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service. You will work closely with senior leadership while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.Your Key Responsibilities as an Accounts Manager:
* Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as their primary point of contact
* Reviewing and overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts
* Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team
* Supporting clients with accounting, tax, and business advisory matters
* Ensuring work is delivered efficiently and in line with deadlines
* Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value
To be considered for this Accounts Manager position, you will have/be:
* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Previous experience within a UK chartered accountancy practice
* Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and compliance
* Excellent communication and client management skills
* Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
