Position: CNC Setter/Operator (MK1) - PM Shift
Competitive hourly rate from £17.87 per hour (including 25% shift allowance) dependent upon skills in line with Grading Structure.

Essential Functions
The key activities outlined below represent an overview only of the position of CNC Setter/Operator based on site at the Leicester Plant and should not be seen as a prescriptive list of activities. A flexible and responsive approach to this role is vital, together with the initiative in identifying and focusing on the needs of the business and its customers.
Specific Responsibilities
* Set, Fault Find & Operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances.
* In process deburring and Self Inspection
* To use gauges and measuring equipment to ensure product meets required specifications.
* Self-certification of personal work.
* To prove out downloaded programs so they are in line with the correct timings in accordance with our manufacturing and quality standards and then to up load the proven program.
* Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date at all times.
* Responsible for producing SPC charts and records.
* Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards.
* Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to, taking an active part in root cause analysis.
General Company Support
* Undertake to train on all machines to ensure 100% flexibility in the workplace, and once fully trained to train others.
* To actively take part in locally focused, or multi-functional continuous improvement teams.
* Work as fully flexible team member within the Company to maximise levels of production and quality.
* Maximise plant and resource utilisation.

Qualifications
pmEducation, Experience & Background
* Experience of working within a busy Manufacturing environment.
* Experience setting CNC Machines preferably DMG/Mori/CMZ/Doosan with fanuc/sieman controls
* Aerospace experience would be advantageous.
