Silversmith/ Jewellery manufacturer/ Production Operative\nLooking for experience/qualification in jewellery/silversmithing, will suit someone who has a background as a Silversmith/ Production assistant/ Jewellery Maker - Precious Metals - Based in Birmingham City Centre\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a jeweller/jewellery maker/silversmith to work for a niche business in a small team.\n\nIf you are looking for a role where you CAN really make a difference and your decisions and opinions really matter please read on!\n\nBackground or education/training in metal work, silversmith, goldsmith, semi precious metals or precious metals advantageous.\n\nROLE:\n•Producing and manufacturing silver and semi precious metal pieces using skilled production/ silversmith methods.\n•Using silver, precious metals using labour intensive manufacturing and craftsmanship\n•The main purpose of this role is to maintain high standards of production and crafting working in a team of production staff in a successful tooling / instruments environment\n•The team are easy to get along with, motivated and ensure production targets are met, high standards are achieved, and any improvements are introduced\n•Ensuring health and safety as well as maintaining stock levels\n\nRequirements:\n\nMust have training or education or experience of silver, gold, metal production/manufacturing\n\nEnthusiastic and positive team player\n\nHappy to do a labour intensive manufacturing role\n\nHappy with a very precise role making small articles by hand with multiple small parts, can be fiddly but rewarding work!\n\nBe able to coordinate various parts of a manufacturing process\n\nThe role is accessible by train or bus and based in central Birmingham.
