What You'll Do: As a Resource Management Planner, you will be at the forefront of ensuring effective resource allocation for operational policing. Your key responsibilities will include: Maintaining optimal staffing levels for daily policing activities and planned operations. Accurately recording data in Force IT systems to facilitate effective resource planning. Acting as the first point of contact for all resource management inquiries. Supporting the maintenance of the organisational skill base. Producing insightful reports and analyses to guide managerial decision-making. Presenting and explaining plans to relevant managers clearly and confidently.What We're Looking For: To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: A solid understanding of resource management and planning, including relevant IT systems. Knowledge of Police Regulations, Police Staff Handbook, and Working Time Regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook. An ability to work comfortably with large datasets, identifying gaps and inconsistencies swiftly. Proven capability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong negotiation skills to advocate for resource needs effectively.
