This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong track record of developing long-term customer relationships, ideally in the EPOS or retail software industry.You will take ownership of a portfolio of existing customers, working to ensure they are realising the full value of our solutions. From driving adoption of our latest features to cross-selling new modules and servicesyoull play a key role in customer success, revenue growth, and long-term retention.The role will also focus on migrating clients to our integrated payments solution, ClearAccept, using a consultative and strategic approach to influence decision-making and adoption.What youll doBuild strong relationships with existing clients and maintain regular contact to ensure satisfaction and retentionIdentify and close cross-sell and upsell opportunities within your customer base to meet agreed sales targetsDevelop a deep understanding of Swan Retails solutions and guide customers to use our tools more effectivelyProvide consultative guidance to customers to align their technology roadmaps with our evolving product setOwn strategic growth plans for key accounts in your portfolioMigrate existing customers onto the ClearAccept payment gateway using commercial insight and negotiation skillsMaintain accurate CRM records and report pipeline updates clearly to the Account Management LeadProvide regular forecasts and performance updates including metrics, revenue predictability, and churn riskCollaborate with teams across Support, Operations, Development, and Marketing to deliver a great customer experienceOffer exceptional customer service and proactively resolve issuesStay up to date with market trends, industry developments, and product knowledgeWhat were looking forProven success in a client-facing, target-driven Account Management roleExperience in the software or retail technology sector, ideally including EPOSAbility to understand customer needs and align them with appropriate technology solutionsStrong commercial acumen and consultative sales approachConfident communicator who can engage and influence at all levelsAbility to remain calm and positive under pressureExperience in or interest in retail sectors such as department stores, furniture, or hospitality is an advantageKey behaviours and attributesStrong commercial awarenessExcellent communication and presentation skillsHigh levels of empathy, professionalism, and confidence in customer interactionsA persuasive, consultative, and proactive approachWhy join ClearCourse?Swan Retail is part of ClearCoursea fast-growing UK-based technology group backed by Aquiline Capital Partners.
