The role
Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, you will transform the leadership of the Relationship Management practice to foster excellence in building and managing deep relationships between IT and the global Group. You will work closely with IT leadership to enhance engagement and shape the 'personality' of IT as a core element of Babcock’s success.
This role emphasizes the importance of the 'how'—approach, attitude, and innovation. We value courageous ideas, kindness, and a spirit of challenge. Building relationships is complex and iterative, and you will be supported to make a positive impact, using your judgment to do things well most of the time.

You will deliver key change objectives such as:
* Develop metrics for customer vision, perception of IT, demand, and risk management
* Create a framework and improvement plan for global BP governance aligned with IT and corporate strategy
* Develop a framework for global 'personality', processes, and communication
* Build a trusted, courageous culture
* Recruit, train, and mentor team members in line with these plans
Daily responsibilities include:
* Leading the Relationship Management practice to build impactful relationships and represent IT effectively
* Defining and governing frameworks for alignment with IT leadership and stakeholders
* Managing financial planning, forecasting, and resource allocation
* Ensuring compliance with corporate governance principles and expenditure limits
This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours/week, with hybrid working options.
Essential experience:
* Excellent communication skills at all levels, influencing senior leaders
* Senior management experience working with IT professionals and diverse stakeholders
* Strong leadership with a focus on value-driven outcomes
* Ability to understand complex information, with analytical and problem-solving skills
* Decisiveness, teamwork, and ability to work under tight deadlines
Qualifications:
* Open to diverse backgrounds; experience and willingness to learn are valued
Security Clearance: Must be able to achieve and maintain SC/ BPSS clearance. Eligibility may be affected by nationality or residency.
