What you will be doing
Were looking for an ambitious, commercially minded sales professional whos ready to take the next step into leadership.
This role is designed as a development pathway into a future Branch Manager position within the next 45 years. Youll start by driving sales activity, managing key accounts, and supporting team performance, while also gaining hands on experience across branch operations, commercial decision making, and people leadership.
Its a great opportunity for someone currently working in senior sales, account management, or a team leader role whos looking to step up and build a long term career within a stable, growing business.
Your responsibilities include: -
Sales & Commercial Leadership
* Take ownership of daily sales activity to help the branch hit its targets
* Build strong, lasting relationships with key B2B customers
* Spot opportunities to grow existing accounts and bring in new business
* Keep track of the sales pipeline, activity levels, and forecasts
Team Development & Leadership
* Support and develop the sales team through regular coaching and guidance
* Gradually take on more responsibility for team structure and performance
* Work closely with the Branch Manager to help create a strong, high performing sales culture
Business & Operational Exposure
* Gain hands on experience across all areas of branch operations and commercial processes
* Make sure CRM systems are kept up to date with accurate, timely information
* Work with operations and other branches to ensure customers receive excellent service
* Play an active role in improving sales processes and overall performance

* Experience in a B2B sales environment (internal or external)

Desirable
* Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting others
* Background in manufacturing, distribution, or a trade-focused environment
* Exposure to branch operations or similar commercial settings

Salary - £45,000+ depending on experience
