The Keyholder assists in managing the retail store in alignment with the short and long-term interests of the Company, its employees, and the local community. He/she consistently provides excellent customer service and supports the Store Manager in monitoring sales and performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Human Resources/Team Development
* Model and promote exceptional customer service through observation and feedback.
* Encourage employee contribution to store productivity.
* Delegate tasks effectively in the Store Manager's absence.
* Assist in recruiting sales and stock staff to meet staffing needs and company goals.
* Foster a positive work environment by recognizing performance and maintaining respect.
Operations
* Handle opening and closing procedures and secure assets.
* Manage store security systems, including building security and cash handling.
* Engage with customers to understand and address their needs.
* Perform managerial duties when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are unavailable.
Finance
* Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
* Assist in achieving sales targets through daily monitoring and execution of plans.
Education/Experience
Required Qualifications:
* Associate’s degree
* Driver’s License
* 1-2 years’ retail management experience
* Must be 18 years or older
