We are currently looking to recruit an Operations Supervisor at our Ramsgate facility.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Day-to-day team management of the Inspection sections.
* Plan and schedule MPBU workload in line with the site production schedule, through Quantum ERP system.
* Responsible for developing and maintaining strong team morale and teamwork.
* Maintain and ensure implementation of all standard operating practices and procedures.
* Train, motivate, and performance manage staff; complete performance reviews; identify training and development opportunities for team members. Manage first-level discipline and grievance issues.
* Maintain plant and equipment functionality, including machine maintenance (preventative and scheduled).
* Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Monitor stock levels of machine shop consumables.
* Coordinate efficient use and organization of resources and equipment to meet production schedules.
* Support the implementation of new product development initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with all safety standards.
* Ensure component work follows procedures from CMMs and overhaul manuals.
Experience
* Experience in the Engineering Industry.
* Leadership experience in a production workshop environment.
* Computer literate.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining quality, workmanship, and safety compliance.
* Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
* Ability to manage and develop a team in a demanding environment.
* Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
* Results-oriented with troubleshooting skills.
* Strong analytical, administrative, and organizational skills.
