About Our Client
Michael Page are working with an accountancy practice in their search for a new Payroll Specialist. The firm are looking for someone with previous bureau experience to be responsible for managing their own portfolio of clients.
Job Description
Responsibilities include:
* Processing the payroll either weekly or monthly.
* Communicating with the client, via emails and telephone on any payroll issues they have.
* Responsible for the payroll inputting.
* Processing and filing of the RTI submissions
* Processing any new employees, leavers and P45s.
* Filing the EPS submissions and producing the P60s at year-end.
* Filing monthly CIS returns and producing certificates for sub-contractors
* Claiming CIS refunds at the end of the tax year
* Dealing with the pensions and submitting relevant reports to the relevant pension scheme.
The Successful Applicant
The candidate will have:
* Previous Payroll experience within a bureau setting
* Existing knowledge of Sage Payroll
* High attention to detail and levels of accuracy
* Ability to work effectively towards deadlines
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
