Mergers & Acquisition Manager/Senior Manager
Role overview
You’ll manage end‑to‑end buy‑side and sell‑side transactions for owner‑managed and mid‑market businesses, working closely with Partners in a lean, hands‑on environment. The role blends financial analysis, deal execution, and client relationship management with real autonomy and visibility.
Key responsibilities
* Lead day‑to‑day execution of M&A mandates, from valuation and modelling through to negotiation and completion.
* Produce high‑quality IMs, teasers, financial models, and market research.
* Coordinate advisors across legal, tax, and funding workstreams to keep deals moving.
* Support Partners with origination, pitches, and relationship building.
* Maintain strong, trusted relationships with business owners and investors.
* Guide and review work from junior team members.
Skills and experience
* Background in M&A, corporate finance, transaction services, investment banking, or private equity.
* Strong financial modelling and valuation capability.
* Confident communicator with polished written output.
* Comfortable managing multiple workstreams independently.
* ACA/ACCA/CFA (or equivalent) helpful but not essential.
* Knowledge of the Northwest deal landscape is an advantage.
