We’re seeking an inspiring Centre Director to lead Good Shepherd Childcare Service and Kindergarten, located in the heart of Springfield Lakes — a service deeply connected to its school and local community.
In this role, you’ll lead with intention, nurture a high-performing team, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where 83 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years can learn, grow, and belong. Our service is open from 6am - 6pm Monday to Friday and you will be working Full-Time hours.
About the Role:
1. Lead the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the service
2. Deliver high-quality, inclusive early learning programs aligned to NQF and EYLF
3. Foster a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children and families
4. Inspire, coach, and develop your team to achieve their full potential
5. Build strong relationships with families, the school, and wider community

What You’ll Bring
12. Proven experience as a Centre Director or Service Manager
13. Hold current Child Protection Training (CHCPRT025 or CHCPRT026)
14. Diploma (or higher) in Children’s Services (ACECQA-approved)
15. Current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
16. Strong knowledge of NQF, NQS, EYLF, and QKLG
17. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills
18. Experience with Xplor (highly regarded)
19. A commitment to child safety and continuous improvement
