Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for M&E Manager on a 6 month Contract, based in Luton.

Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the M&E works on the project, eventually stepping up to site manager for the whole project
- Ensure compliance to CDM regulations on site
- Ensure all setting to work procedures are followed
- Ensure works are delivered to a programme whilst maintaining the highest standards of health and safety
- Produce reports and provide information in a timely manner
- Provide sufficient and timely supervision and guidance to ensure staff and sub-contractors are performing to agreed production levels
- Maintain own levels of skill and knowledge to do the job effectively
- Perform other duties as directed by your line manager or management team
- Comply with the relevant Company HSQE and welfare policy provisions
- Support clients and ensure all agreed KPIs are met or exceeded
- Promote best practice and ensure it is fed back into the business
- Lead by example in health, safety, quality & environmental management
- Ensure quality standards are met and maintained throughout the project and assist with the generation of as-built drawings
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- National Grid Competent Person NSI 6 & 8
- IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS or SSSTS
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the T&D industry, preferably on National Grid sites
- HSG47
- CITB TWS or TWC
- First Aid
- Impressed Voltage awareness
- Previous TP137 or SR163 experience and appointment
Desirable
- HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering
- Formal Electrical training
- Impressed Voltage training
- IOSH environmental or equivalent
