LCV Technician / LCV Mechanic Location: Inverness Salary: Up to £20ph Hours: Early & Late Shift Rotation 7-330 /pm Alternate Saturday 7 - 12 Mornings Contract: Permanent We’re looking for an experienced LCV Technician to join a busy and growing workshop in Inverness. With 4 bays, 2 ramps, and a team of 8 skilled technicians, you’ll be part of a well-equipped and supportive environment that values quality work and professional development. As an LCV Technician, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of light commercial vehicles. From routine maintenance to diagnostics and more complex repairs, you’ll play a key role in keeping our fleet on the road. What We Offer: Overtime paid at x1.5, and double time on Sundays 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) Private healthcare after 3 years' service Increased holiday allowance after 5 years' service Ongoing training and upskilling opportunities – including Class 1 Licence support, EV & Hybrid training, and Diagnostic courses Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on LCV vehicles Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge Complete necessary paperwork and service records to a high standard Work within health and safety regulations and company standards Support and mentor less experienced technicians when required Liaise with parts and service teams to ensure timely vehicle turnaround Participate in early and late shift patterns and alternate Saturday mornings About You: Proven experience as an LCV Technician or in a similar role Confident working on a wide range of light commercial vehicles Strong diagnostic and repair skills Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment If this sounds like your kind of role, please click and apply – we’d like to hear from you!
