Role: Hospitality Skills Coach
Experience Required: No prior teaching/training experience is needed; our client will provide all the necessary tools and support to become a qualified trainer. However, you must have prior experience working as a Chef De Partie within a hospitality setting.
Location: Home-based with travel around Southampton & Berkshire. Candidates must drive and have their own vehicle.
Salary: Starting at £27,000 plus additional benefits & OTE.
The Role
As a Hospitality Trainer/Coach, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working from home and visiting different sites within your region to meet learners face-to-face. Typically, you will spend around 2-3 days per week at these sites and have the freedom to organise your own schedule. Your daily duties will include:
1. Working with hospitality apprentices in the back-of-house environment.
2. Using your industry knowledge to train the next generation of chefs.
3. Meeting new apprentices and discussing their learning needs.
4. Supporting apprentices with their functional skills, including explaining the importance of English and maths in their roles.
5. Visiting employers and providing feedback on apprentices' skills.
6. Developing relationships with employers in your area.
