Pyroban is the the world leader in ATEX hazard protection engineering, due to the success of the business, we are now looking for a Design Engineer experienced in
Autodesk Inventor
, for a
3 month period
to design components and assemblies to be incorporated in systems, such as engine packages and material handling machines, predominantly fork lift trucks. Due to the nature of the work, we will require you to be on site for at least 4 out of 5 days.
You will have experience of mechanical assemblies, complex fabrications, motors, shaft/bearing arrangements and rotating seals, and ideally knowledge of electrical design, such as wiring diagrams, although this is a small proportion of the work.
The role requires working closely with applications and compliance engineers to ensure designs are workable and conform to legislation, interpreting customer requirements to determine best and cost effective strategies, you will have hands on problem solving and project managing experience.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS.
* BTEC, HND, or Degree in Engineering.
* Previous experience with Autodesk Inventor
* Proven experience in a similar Product Design job role involving mechanical assemblies, complex fabrications, motors, shafts/bearings arrangements, rotating seals preferably within machinery industry.
* Working knowledge of GD&T
Due to the involved nature of the work, this will be on site at our Shoreham-by-Sea offices.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday and Fridays.
