Internal Sales Executive – Electrical Wholesale

Location: Near Kingston
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)No weekends
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We’re currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an Internal Sales Executive to join their well-established team based near Kingston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven sales experience in the electrical wholesale industry who is looking to join a stable, supportive company with a strong commercial client base.

️ Please note: Sales experience within an electrical wholesale environment is essential for this role. Applications without this experience will not be considered.
About the Role:

You’ll work alongside the Sales Manager and be part of a tight-knit team of four, handling incoming quotes and orders via phone and email. This role focuses on commercial trading accounts and project-based orders, so experience managing large or complex orders is highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and high levels of service.
2. Respond to daily enquiries, quotes, and orders promptly and professionally.
3. Identify new business opportunities through existing contacts and proactive outreach.
4. Negotiate pricing and contracts to close deals while maintaining profitability.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to meet shared team sales targets.
6. Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
7. Stay up to date with industry trends, new products, and competitor activity.
Requirements:
8. Previous internal sales experience in the electrical wholesale industry is essential
9. Confidence in managing commercial accounts and handling significant order values
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
12. Team player with a proactive and customer-focused approach
13. Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
