Overview
We are recruiting a support worker for a client who sustained an acquired brain injury in a car accident a number of years ago. The client is 21 years old, lives in her own home, and is seeking day-to-day support to help her live independently and to get out and about.
Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day support to help the client live independently.
* Support the client to get out and about, pursue interests, and participate in activities.
* Be comfortable around animals and willing to engage with wildlife-related activities.
* Work with the client’s team to ensure she is well looked after.
Qualifications
* Experience or willingness to support someone with an acquired brain injury and to provide person-centered care.
* Reliable, compassionate, patient, and able to communicate effectively.
* Interest in wildlife and nature programmes; ability to engage the client in her interests (e.g., exposure to nature programming and animal-related activities).
About the Client
The client is 21 years old, lives in her own home, and is seeking support to live independently. She is interested in real life psychological crimes, wildlife, nature programmes, and outdoor activities.
