Internal Recruitment Specialist experienced in managing full cycle and high volume recruitment campaigns. McCarthy Stone is offering the opportunity to join us as a Sales Consultant, a role where you will play an integral part in building vibrant, connected retirement communities in Derbyshire.
We are investing in a high-performing, agile sales team ready to lead the way. We are looking for a driven, relationship-first sales professional who thrives on impact and delivering results while helping customers find their perfect home in later life.
To excel in this role, you will need a strong commercial mindset and a proactive approach to managing and driving your own pipeline. You should be a confident communicator with proven experience in a customer-focused, target-driven environment, plus exceptional empathy and the determination to see opportunities through to a successful outcome. A proactive approach, the ability to build meaningful relationships, and a keen eye for detail will set you apart. Previous experience in housebuilding or estate agency is an advantage but not essential; our comprehensive training programme will equip you with everything you need to succeed.
Responsibilities
* Achieve sales success by hitting targets, negotiating competitive deals, maximising margin, and protecting average selling price.
* Provide tailored, personalised customer experiences, guiding customers through their journey with care and understanding.
* Maintain high standards of presentation at every touchpoint and showcase McCarthy Stone’s offerings.
* Foster relationships with potential customers and existing homeowners, bringing the McCarthy Stone lifestyle to life.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations, from property checks to sales lead analysis.
* Stay updated with sales processes and compliance requirements to keep skills sharp and relevant.
Qualifications
* Experience in a customer-centric sales environment with a proven track record in a target-driven setting.
* Strong commercial acumen, organisational skills, and proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and objection handling skills.
* Team player who thrives on collaboration and community engagement.
