Hours of work: Full time (Monday – Friday, 09:30 – 17:30) with occasional weekend work
Key external partners: Avex Classics International’s head office in Tokyo (ACI Tokyo), freelance producers, promoters, agents and freelance artists and technicians
Location of work: Orion House, 5 Upper St Martin’s Lane, London WC2A 9EA, United Kingdom

Our current roster includes productions like Avatar Live in Concert, Amadeus LIVE, Titanic LIVE, RRR LIVE, The Terminator LIVE, and Blade Runner LIVE. We manage a select roster of artists internationally or in specific territories and are developing new production formats for launch soon.
PURPOSE OF ROLE
The Assistant Operations Manager (AOM) supports the HoIO, DHoIO, and the existing Operations team in coordinating and administering ACI’s international productions and artist performances, ensuring the highest standards aligned with the company’s goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Managing contracts with artists and promoters, liaising with the legal department in Tokyo.
* Coordinating marketing, promotional materials, analyzing ticket reports, and supporting promoters.
* Updating production riders with technical partners and collaborating with the OM.
* Booking and contracting artists and staff.
* Assisting with budget management.
* Ensuring technical and production specifications are met, coordinating with technical partners.
* Arranging travel, visas, work permits, and logistics for engagements, including booking flights, hotels, and creating tour itineraries.
* Managing production parts delivery and overseeing rehearsals, performances, artist welfare, and logistics.
Additional responsibilities include supporting accounts, updating records and social media, website management, and aiding in marketing and new production development.
The role requires undertaking any other duties as requested by the line manager or ACI Tokyo.
SKILLS
* Degree or equivalent qualification
* At least three years’ experience in concert, artist, event, or production management
* Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
* Excellent communication skills
* Problem-solving and adaptability
* Fluent in Microsoft Excel and Word
* Experience in fast-paced multinational environments preferred
* Languages, marketing, PR skills, and experience with Overture software are advantageous
