Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering GCSE and Functional Skills Maths to learners aged 16, planning engaging lessons that inspire progression and achievement. The successful Maths Lecturer will play a key role in supporting students to overcome barriers to learning, raise attainment levels, and prepare confidently for exams and future employment opportunities.
Qualifications
* A relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent
* Experience delivering GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths within a further education setting
* Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Maths education
* Excellent classroom management and learner engagement skills
* The ability to plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons
* A positive, resilient and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
