As we expand our operations, we're looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability of our plant and equipment in a hands-on, flexible role. ️ The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a practically minded, reliable engineer who enjoys a varied workload and the autonomy to manage their own time. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on plant and machinery Maintain and fault-find equipment such as: Shot blasting machines Air compressors Conveyor systems Pressure systems Industrial steam boilers (desirable) Read and interpret engineering schematics Respond to occasional daytime callouts (flexibly arranged) Support operational uptime and equipment efficiency About You We're looking for someone with: Proven experience in maintenance engineering (mechanical bias with electrical skills) Knowledge of PLC systems (basic fault-finding, not programming) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Welding/fabrication experience (advantageous, not essential) Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills A proactive, dependable attitude Bonus: Previous supervisory experience or looking to transition into a senior, mentoring role.
