Candidate Profile
Duty Security Officer – You will ensure the safety and security of our colleagues, guests and property as an integral part of our operations. Your attentiveness, efficiency and commitment will help the hotel remain a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of security and health & safety, protecting guests, employees and the company from all matters involving security, fire, risk procedures and health and safety. Excellent communication skills, eye for detail, teamwork and a passion for exceptional customer service are essential.
Key Requirements
* Proven track record of security work within the hospitality or retail industry or employment within the emergency or armed services (preferred).
* Excellent command of English; knowledge of a second language preferred.
* Immaculate grooming standards.
* Holder of an SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
* Holder of a First Aid at Work certificate, or willingness to undertake training.
* Ability to work with minimum supervision.
* Drive for Excellent Customer Service.
* Availability, flexibility and willingness to work a 24‑hour roster when required.
* Manual handling duties will be required.
