Rotala are looking for a reliable, self-motivated and enthusiastic person to join the Midlands based Commercial Team. Do you have an interest in the commercial aspect of a bus company? Do you want to support driving our business forward? We would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
1. Implement service and timetable changes in line with registrations with the traffic commissioner
2. Produce schedule of bus workings and driving duties in line with legal driving regulation
3. Maintain and improve timetable accuracy on customer end
4. Responsible for accurate route mapping and service mapping.
5. Assist with producing accurate information for route registrations to the traffic commissioner
6. Build timetables and provide accurate information to assist the company with tender bids for new contracts
7. Production and maintenance of rota lines and importing rotas into allocation systems
8. Provide files for importing duties and scheduling files to assist with driver recording duties and lost mileage recording
9. Ensure the business is in line with legal requirements from the Department for Transport or contractual obligations with Local Authorities
10. Work with commercial analysts to identify and look for improvements in the scheduling team
11. Provide assistance with Next Stop systems and Destination Blind programming in line with accessibility regulation.
12. Assist with the procurement and coordination of rail replacement and other private hire work.

14. Self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude to all tasks;
15. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to analyse reports and identify issues
16. Excellent knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office;
17. Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team; Ability to demonstrate a flexible and co-operative approach towards changing business needs;
