Salary
£26,908 to £28,890 per annum based on a 36.25-hour contract / pro rata if applicable. Posts are initially offered at the minimum salary point £14.27 per hour, with progression to £15.33 per hour through annual incremental pay rise.

About the role and team
An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and customer focused Team Leaders to join our Catering Team. Based within “The Barn” at Sutton Bonington Campus you will be responsible for the operation, organisation and supervision of a catering unit.
Responsibilities
* Prepare the dining room and servery area for service.
* Organise formal dinners and events.
* Train, motivate and supervise a team.
* Prepare rota’s and use the time and attendance system.
* Liaise with suppliers and internal departments.
* Ensure excellent service to customers at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
* Supervisory experience in a similar environment.
* Proven planning, administration and organisational skills.
* Experience of stock control.
* Ability to lift and move items that may be heavy; lifting aids and training will be provided.
Hours of Work
25 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday with occasional weekends for events and conferences. Working hours are 09.00am-4.00pm on a permanent rolling contract for 52 weeks of the year, including student vacation periods. 15% pay uplift for weekend hours. Flexibility to work a range of shifts is required.

Training
The successful candidate will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which run Monday to Friday mornings. Further details will be given at interview.
