We are looking for a proactive Sales Support Administrator to help us deliver a high-quality customer journey, from first contact through to sale and delivery. In this essential role, you will manage outbound communications via email and phone, ensuring enquiries and prospects are handled efficiently and professionally. You will also work to meet KPIs for customer interactions and support the sales team in achieving their targets.
This role would suit someone who is confident speaking with customers on the phone, takes initiative, and enjoys problem solving. You'll need to be comfortable gathering information, asking the right questions, and connecting the dots to keep projects moving forward. Strong organisation, attention to detail, and a desire to deliver excellent service are essential.

Responsibilities
· Proactively follow up on existing sales enquiries using the CRM, tracking progress through to tender award
· Maintain regular contact with existing clients to keep relationships active and engaged
· Carry out outreach to new contacts and companies to support business development efforts
· Review new project enquiries, research key stakeholders, and support with tailored outreach and proposal preparation
· Assist in preparing technical submissions (training provided)
· Use platforms such as Barbour ABI for project and stakeholder research
· Support the team with accurate use of the CRM (HubSpot), including quoting and updating records
· Provide occasional cover for other sales support staff, including raising quotations (training provided)
· Manage your personal task list to ensure all assigned daily tasks are completed on time
· Support the Head of Built Environment with general administrative and sales support tasks as required
What We Are Looking For
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software. (HubSpot is a bonus)
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
