About the Role
As our General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind an exceptional student living experience. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure top‑notch customer service in sales, maintenance and housekeeping, instil our core values and enable your team to excel. You’ll manage the check‑in, check‑out and room‑turnaround process each September, coordinate communication with students and handle any operational issues that arise. You’ll have the support of the larger Homes for Students family and a strong area and regional team.
Responsibilities
* Lead a diverse team to deliver outstanding student service.
* Oversee sales, maintenance, housekeeping and operations.
* Manage budgeting and financial performance.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Deliver effective communication with students and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
* Leadership experience in a similar role.
* Strong analytical and reporting skills.
* Excellent organisational abilities.
* Team player who can motivate and inspire.
* Proficient in IT, especially Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations (desirable).
* SCQF Level 6 Certificate in Property Agency (Lettings), or willingness to obtain it through a Company Training Agreement.
