An exciting vacancy has arisen within our Maintenance team for a Maintenance Technician to join the team. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the main purpose of this role is to support with planned maintenance and corrective activities.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will:
1. Maintain and find fault with a wide variety of automated industrial plant and process equipment including stainless steel fabrication, CNC/Robotic machinery, metal forming/press tool machinery, assembly plant, powder coating paint plant etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
1. Qualified in a relevant mechanical discipline.
2. Proven mechanical fitting experience in an industrial maintenance engineering environment.
3. Able to read and follow mechanical drawings.
4. Competent with bench and machine fitting.
5. A proven working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
6. Competent with lifting/slinging.
7. Capable of working unsupervised when required - alone or as part of the team.
8. PC literate.
9. Basic welding competence (preferable but not essential).
10. FLT driving license/experience (preferable but not essential).
11. IPAF license to drive MEWP’s i.e. scissor/boom lifts (preferable but not essential).
12. Current driving license.
* Please note this role is being offered on permanent Double Day shifts.
