We are delighted to be working with our fantastic client – a thriving and innovative beauty and cosmetics manufacturer with their own high-performing brand stocked in numerous major retailers and e-tailers across the UK. This is a newly created, strategic leadership role reporting directly into the Company Director, designed to support the next phase of exciting growth — both in the UK and internationally.
The Role:
As Head of Sales & Marketing, you’ll lead a small but passionate and high-performing commercial team including Account Managers, a Marketing Executive, and a Social Media Manager. You’ll be responsible for shaping and driving both sales and marketing strategies across B2B and consumer-facing channels, with a strong focus on brand growth, customer relationships, and expansion into new markets (including Europe).
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Sales and Marketing team, inspiring performance and developing clear commercial strategies.
* Manage and grow key retail and e-tail partnerships, ensuring revenue targets are met and exceeded.
* Work closely with the Director and cross-functional teams to align sales and marketing plans with company goals.
* Oversee the planning and execution of digital, brand, and trade marketing activities.
* Support international expansion plans, including entry into European markets.
* Monitor and report on sales performance, competitor activity, and market trends.
* Manage budgets across sales and marketing functions.
* Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture.
About You:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Senior National Account Manager or Head of Sales within the beauty and cosmetics sector.
* At least 4 years’ experience in the industry – either from a brand or manufacturing background.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Experience with UK retailers and/or e-tailers essential.
* A commercially driven mindset with a creative approach to brand building.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing SME environment.
* Confident communicator and relationship builder.
