Role Overview
The Fundraising Manager – Trusts will cultivate a pipeline of opportunities and ensure an excellent funder experience to provide Sight Scotland with sustainable income. This specialist manager role focuses on trusts and grants, developing trust income and exploring larger funding bids including potential funding for Sight Scotland Veterans.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop trust income beyond the existing robust pipeline.
* Work with service delivery teams to identify new funding opportunities.
* Focus on larger funding bids and explore potential funding for Sight Scotland Veterans.
* Create compelling applications and directly deliver income success.
* Line‑manage a Trusts Fundraiser (new post), providing people‑management experience for the first time.
* Maximise fundraising income to support the delivery of brilliant services and create a long‑term positive impact.
Qualifications & Experience
* Senior trust fundraising experience or demonstrated ability to develop a trust and grants pipeline.
* Track record of creating compelling applications and achieving income success.
* Open to candidates looking to take on people management for the first time.
