Overview
As a Senior Building Surveyor based in Manchester, your role will include:
Responsibilities
* Delivering building surveying services
* Lead and deliver building surveying projects, with a focus on cladding remediation schemes and fire/building safety compliance
* Employers' agent duties
* Undertake inspections, assessments, and reports relating to external wall systems, fire safety, and compliance with the Building Safety Act
* Oversee project delivery from inception through to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely execution
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Ensuring project timelines, budgets, and standards are met
Proven experience in a building surveying construction consultancy environment within similar sectors; experience in cladding schemes and knowledge of Fire and Building Safety Acts (Desirable).
Qualifications
* A Building Surveying degree (or equivalent qualification)
* MRICS chartership (desired)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* A proactive and professional approach
* All-rounded technical building surveying knowledge
* Ability to produce clear, high-quality reports with logical recommendations
