Vocational Qualifications Product Manager
Salary: £49,300 - £65,950
Location: Coventry, UK – Hybrid (at least 2 days per week in the office)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
About the Role
As the Vocational Qualifications Product Manager, you will lead product proposition design and delivery through ongoing vocational reform. Working closely with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams, you will translate policy and market insight into clear product direction and hold accountability for the commercial performance of multiple vocational qualifications. Your work will ensure that qualifications are attractive and valuable for our centres and learners while maintaining robust margins.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and implement customer and market insight for target segments.
* Create insight-based customer value propositions for new vocational qualifications.
* Build evidence-based financial forecasts and cost models.
* Routinely monitor commercial performance, leading intervention where necessary.
About You
We seek an experienced vocational qualifications expert with deep understanding of the UK vocational education sector. You should have a proven record of delivering successful product propositions, harnessing market and customer insight to realise commercial potential, confidence in building financial forecasting, communicating with senior leaders, and influencing stakeholders to achieve commercial goals.
Requirements
Minimum requirements include proven experience and capability in vocational product management.
Desirable criteria include direct experience working with or building propositions for the Further Education sector.
