Outdoor Nursery Deputy Manager (50/50 Practice & Admin)

Lead, support and shape a unique outdoor nursery
At Chapter One Childcare's Treetops Outdoor Nursery, we offer a truly unique setting where nature is the classroom and every day is an adventure.
We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join our leadership team, supporting both outdoor practice and the operational running of the nursery.
About the Role
This is a structured hybrid role:
* 2 days outdoors supporting children, staff and leading practice
* 2 days office-based supporting admin, systems, compliance and day-to-day operations
You will work closely alongside the Nursery Manager and step into a leadership role in their absence.
What We're Looking For
* BA or PDA Level 9 (or SVQ 4/Level 8 PDA and working towards)
* SSSC Lead Practitioner registered (or eligible)
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Confident both in practice and with administrative responsibilities
* Passion for outdoor learning and early years
What We Offer
* £16.65 per hour
* £0.60 per hour outdoor working supplement
* 4-day working week (40 hours)

Important to Know
This is not a fully office-based role. You will be expected to work outdoors year-round as part of the leadership team.
