We are a team of Engineers who are a mixture of technical specialists and engineering leads and all passionate about finding technical solutions to support AIRBUS products, specifically A220 Wings. We have a vast wealth of knowledge and experience within our engineers who can help you grow technically and personally within this role.
We have a strategy which is strongly focused on continuous individual growth through in-role and classroom learning, cross-program experiences.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM:
* Design of composite and metallic Wing structures
* Able to assess design solutions within the time, cost and quality parameters
* Create design schemes, frontier and interfaces drawings and Data for manufacture (component drawings)
* Support the validation of design requirements and agreement of deviations.
* Deliver and enable technical studies, trades and investigations to ensure the delivery of technical solutions in accordance to relevant Design methods and procedures
* Experience in providing engineering dispositions for manufacturing defects is desirable
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and competences:
* Experience within a Design environment along with a sound engineering knowledge of Manufacturing and Design techniques, procedures and practices.
* Willingness to learn how to propose solutions and solve problems
* Knowledge and experience of metallic and composite structures
* Knowledge and experience of design toolsets.
* Experience in supporting concessions is desirable
* Opportunity to develop IT skills associated with engineering activities
* Wing Structure knowledge would be advantageous.
* Ability to analyse, propose and solve technical problems.
* Ensure delivery of own tasks whilst adhering to time, cost and quality parameters.
* Excellent communication skills and a drive to deliver customer value and quality.
