Responsibilities
* Work with CYP who have complex needs, including learning disabilities and behavioural challenges
* Provide a nurturing, stable, and structured environment
* Support emotional, social, and educational development
* Encourage independence, life skills, and positive coping mechanisms
* Accurately complete daily logs and reports
* Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to ensure high standards of care
We offer flexible shift patterns including days, nights, and ongoing block bookings, with both short and long shifts available.
Experience with Challenging Behaviours, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, PMVA, PI, MAPA, MAPPI, Team teach, De‑escalation Techniques, Crisis Management, Health and Safety Awareness. To be considered, you must have:
* Right to Work in the UK (We are unable to offer sponsorship)
* 6+ months UK experience working in a CYP setting, with specific experience in challenging behaviour and learning disabilities
* 3 references (2 professional, 1 character)
* In‑date PMVA or Team Teach certificate (or willingness to complete training)
* An Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
