Estimator - Water Hygiene & Water Treatment (Hybrid)
About the Role
We're looking for an Estimator to join our team in the water hygiene and water treatment sector. Based in Widnes (WA8 0SL) with hybrid working options, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing client enquiries and tender documents to understand project needs.
* Collaborating closely with our operations team and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing.
* Preparing detailed quotes for essential services like Legionella risk assessments, water tank cleaning, remedial works, and the installation of chemical dosing systems.
* Conducting occasional site visits to gather critical information for your estimates.
* Work alongside the sales team to follow up quotes and win contracts
Who We're Looking For
This is the perfect next step for a commercial plumber or water hygiene engineer who wants to progress their career off the tools. You should have a strong technical understanding of the industry, including a working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG 274, and BS EN standards. Experience producing reports and managing purchase orders would be a significant advantage.
A full UK driving licence (max 6 points) is also required for occasional site visits.
