TPF Recruitment is recruiting for an Audit Manager to join a reputable firm of chartered accountants based in the KT area.
You will work primarily in an audit-focused role, managing a diverse portfolio of corporate clients across various sectors and sizes, from businesses with £10m turnovers to listed companies and multinational groups.

Responsibilities include:
1. Managing assignments in accordance with the firm's procedures, including client communication, cost, and billing arrangements.
2. Ensuring audit quality, assisting with internal and external quality assurance, and adhering to professional standards.
3. Briefing staff on client businesses, supervising work, and providing on-the-job training and appraisals.
4. Completing jobs within budget, addressing material issues with the partner and client promptly.
5. Maintaining excellent client service throughout the year.
6. Coordinating with other departments to meet client needs.
7. Developing knowledge of the firm's specialist services and undertaking special projects as needed.
8. Performing review and completion procedures, attending final meetings, and ensuring timely delivery of final accounts and reports.
9. Overseeing ad hoc advisory projects.
10. Ensuring recoverability of work in progress and timely billing.
11. Maintaining advanced technical knowledge and fulfilling CPD requirements.
12. Researching and preparing proposals for new work and participating in client presentations.
13. Acting as a line manager to students and/or seniors.
14. Participating in prospective client seminars and follow-up activities.
15. Attending staff meetings and training sessions.
Requirements
1. ACA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
2. At least 4 years of practical experience in a similar practice role.
3. Experience with FRS102 and/or IFRS.
4. Proven experience in planning, executing, and finalizing statutory audit assignments.
