We're searching for an experienced scriptwriter to join us in a long-term partnership for a YouTube channel centered on documentary and narrative storytelling.
This is not basic storytelling work. We need someone who truly understands narrative architecture, tension building, rhythm, and viewer retention — and who knows how to write specifically for YouTube's ecosystem, audience psychology, and algorithm dynamics.
Channel Direction
• Serious, documentary-driven tone
• Structured storytelling with powerful hooks and logical progression
• Real events and real contexts (no sensationalism, no glorification)
• Scripts crafted for voice-over delivery (natural cadence, precise wording)
• Emphasis on human choices, cause and effect, and consequences
Candidate Requirements
• Demonstrated experience writing YouTube scripts (documentary, crime, history, investigative content preferred)
• Strong ability to craft compelling openings (the first 30–60 seconds must secure retention)
• Solid narrative framework (introduction → escalation → payoff)
• Clear, tight, engaging writing style
• Knowledge of YouTube monetization standards and content policies
• Ability to study and faithfully replicate a defined reference style
