Job Description
Darlow Lloyd (Construction) Ltd are currently looking to hire highly skilled and experienced Ground Workers to work on newly awarded Housing Development projects throughout South Wales (Swansea & Carmarthen areas) from pre-construction through to completion.
The Ground workers role is integral to working within our team in order that we can deliver our projects to the highest quality.
What we expect form the role?
The ability to:
* To work closely and well with other team members
* Ensure tasks are completed efficiently with attention to detail and to the highest standards
* Assist in preparation and excavation works on site
* Laying of foundations, drainage systems and other groundwork elements. Plot drainage experience essential
* Laying of kerbs, slabs, path edgings and Aco drainage
* Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
* Report any issues or concerns to your site supervisor promptly
* Ability to operate basic construction and plant and tools safely
* This role will involve travel across various sites in the region as well as occasional trips to our head office.
What we need from you?
* Experience within the construction (civil) industry is essential particularly within house building
* Understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
* Current CSCS Card (Blue Skilled)
* NVQ in Ground Working or similar
* Relevant Plant & tool training (CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo)
* Good communication & people skills
