Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central expertise. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and project delivery, with a requirement to remain hands-on where needed.
The successful candidate will lead a team of developers, oversee delivery across multiple projects, and act as a key technical and client-facing stakeholder.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and manage a Business Central development team
* Oversee resource planning, utilisation, performance management, and KPIs
* Provide technical leadership on architecture, best practices, and solution design
* Remain hands-on in development when required
* Manage delivery timelines, risks, and dependencies across projects
* Collaborate with Product, DevOps, Finance, and senior stakeholders
* Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver custom solutions
* Ensure documentation, knowledge transfer, and coding standards are maintained
* Support development budget planning and cost control
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience leading technical/software development teams
* Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
* Solid knowledge of AL development, customisations, and integrations
* Experience with APIs, web services, and data migration
* Familiarity with Azure, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
* Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
* Experience managing team performance, utilisation, and delivery metrics
* Ideally Microsoft certifications (or willingness to achieve)
* Experience in a partner or consultancy environment
